Tips for shoplifters

Reformed international shoplifters, the Retail Environment Conference, gave a few tips on how retail design can prevent shoplifting. One told of a caper which led to the liberation of three leather coats, each worth 1000, from a store in Munich. Not all would fit in the thief’s baggage, so one is still sitting in a locker at Munich airport.
