Anyway, that wasn’t what we wanted to say about McV am, the breakfast top-up range created for McVitie’s by Design Bridge (News, DW 10 April).
According to the brand blurb, it’s all about extending the product opportunity into morning snacking blah, blah, blah.
But when do McVitie’s think people eat their biscuits? Have they never heard of ‘coffee time’ or does this signal the end of ‘elevenses’ as we know it? We demand to be told.
Blame bloody ‘latte culture’. The strawberry cereal bars did pass muster, mind.
