The Tussauds Group Studios in London is designing the interiors, graphics and high-tech show featuring waxwork figures for the new Madame Tussaud’s in New York. The new building is scheduled to open on New York’s 42nd Street (DW 21 July). Costing almost 19m, Pearson’s latest venture will provide 5600m2 of exhibition space on five floors. The site, which is due to open in 1998, is ex- pected to attract two million visitors a year.
