Glazer scores for Premier Rugby

Rugby Union’s 12-strong top tier of professional clubs, the English First Division Rugby, launches its new corporate identity on Saturday, designed by London consultancy Glazer.

Under the banner of Premier Rugby, EFDR’s objectives are to increase awareness of the club game and its players and increase attendance at games. The new logo represents an abstract, spiralling rugby ball and carries a brand promise – “Fitter Faster Harder”.

“This new identity and sponsorship initiative is important practically and symbolically,” says EFDR chief executive officer Howard Thomas.
