JKR revamps Keo labelling

Jones Knowles-Ritchie has redesigned the labelling for Cypriot brand Keo Wines. Both red and white varieties have been given a more contemporary image, while retaining a strong link to their heritage.

The branding specialist has used hints of Greek mythology and calligraphy to communicate the name and vintage of each wine, and designed a coloured band which runs along the base of each label to provide consistency across the entire range. A vineyard crest together with the strapline “be happy and drink well”, is also included for the range, which is mainly for the domestic market, but is also sold across Europe.

JKR joint managing director Andy Knowles says the redesign communicates “good taste and quality with a contemporary brand image, without losing the heritage and history of the vineyards themselves.”
