Enter a virtual world of polyurethanes at the new website designed by C2 Creative Communications for ICI. Featuring Superscape’s VRT software used for the 3D modelling of the Millennium Dome, the site illustrates polyurethane applications including a 3D house and car, and a leisure centre. ‘The virtual world incorporates leading edge technology and is quite different from most corporate websites, featuring a clean and fresh approach,’ says C2 business partner Gary Chapman. The 100-page site is the first stage of a project to create sites for each of the seven businesses within ICI Polyurethanes. C2 worked with Web development consultancy General Interactive on the new site.
The design is the “rebellious” cousin of Fortnum’s handmade English chocolate line and even saw the consultancy work on the shape of the chocolate.
The previous branding for The B Team — which aims to make businesses more sustainable — was “dry” and “authoritative”.
Developed and launched by Heimat Berlin, the typeset uses original graffiti scrawled on the Wall during its 28-year history.
The publication – based in Washington, D.C.,US – has unveiled updates across its print and iOS offerings.
