Cheung breathes fire into the greeting card

London design group Lawrence Cheung went to extraordinary lengths to mark the Chinese New Year earlier this month by producing a 50cm-long greetings card, designed in-house and illustrated by freelance David Bowyer.

The intricate nine-part image reflects the change in years – 1999 was the year of the rabbit and 2000 is the year of the dragon – with a series of illustrations starting with five furry bunnies and ending with a ferocious fire-breathing dragon.
