College recruits high flyer with bill posters

Mysterious posters around Soho this week, furtively (illegally?) posted on lamp posts caught our attention.

Mysterious posters around Soho this week, furtively (illegally?) posted on lamp posts caught our attention, not just because of the hand-scrawled message – Bob Gill Wanted Two Days A Week – but because of the London Institute headed paper it was printed on.

Not giving any other clues as to the seeker’s identity or precise need, the flyer coyly featured a phone number. After a few unanswered calls, probably reflecting the idiocy of the caller’s inebriated state as much as the lax working hours of the Central Saint Martins graphic design department, all was revealed.

Department supremo Clive Challis is looking for a part-time tutor to teach first year undergraduates about the semantics of advertising. Candidates must be as off the wall as Bob (ideas above style). Wages were not discussed, but given the budget for the recruitment campaign it’s anyone’s guess.
