Design Council seeks innovator

The Design Council is recruiting a manager to develop the organisation’s new Sharing Innovation scheme – a follow-up from the Millennium Products initiative.

The new programme aims to “expand on stories of innovation that we’ve uncovered through the Millennium Products initiative and publicise them”, explains a Design Council spokesman.

He expects the successful applicant to begin a standard three-year contract by “early summer” on a salary of £35,000.

The Design Council plans two major appointments this year – this managerial post and Christopher Frayling’s post as chairman.
