A multipurpose screen revolving 180-degrees around its central axis is a key feature of a mobile phone concept from PDD. The Helix takes the clamshell form and adds a mechanism to rotate the screen – when closed, the display acts as an MP3 player or camera and when open (for calls or text messaging) it automatically swivels to face the user. PDD will demonstrate the design at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes from 14-17 February.
