A Conran & Partners-designed ground floor in the Park Hotel New Delhi, India, has been completed with the unveiling of the Mist cafÃ©. The interior work follows the opening last spring of the hotel’s restaurant and bar Fire and Agni. The floor’s functions are linked in a single, curved space with different areas separated by a variety of screens, rather than walls. Mist references the element of ‘water’, while the restaurant relates to ‘fire’ and the reception area to ‘air’. Conran & Partners associate director Robert Malcolm is leading the project, which will now turn to the design of luxury suites, the lounge, pool and pool bar.
