Eight compete for museum job

London’s Transport Museum will appoint a consultancy in February to create a visitor attraction at the museum.

It is understood that eight consultancies have been shortlisted for the project, which will focus on the future of transport in London. Much of the museum’s existing displays examine the history and heritage of transport in the capital.

Details are under wraps. ‘We are in the process of interviewing for a refurbishment programme at the museum,’ says the museum’s creative director Belinda Betts.
