Virgin Vie, the brand’s cosmetics retail chain, is currently set to launch a largescale flagship store before embarking on a national expansion programme. The chain has surprised the retail property market by acquiring a 476m2 store on London’s Oxford Street as its first outlet.
The high-profile site is unusually large for a cosmetics and toiletries store. A Vie spokeswoman confirms the design of the store will feature services other than just retail. She will not comment on what these services will be, but says the chain “will not be a beauty salon”.
Revolution is believed to be working on elements of store design, although other designers are thought to be involved.
