Merger denied by Holmes & Marchant

Holmes & Marchant Group executive director Emyr Jones confirms that two of the group’s divisions are “working closer together”.

Holmes & Marchant Group executive director Emyr Jones confirms that two of the group’s divisions are “working closer together”. But he refutes suggestions that a full merger is happening or that there are to be any “significant” job losses.

The firms affected are Holmes & Marchant Integrated, which specialises in direct marketing, and Holmes & Marchant Central, which specialises in sales promotion and does some packaging design.

Jones says: “The companies are in the same building in London and have a close working relationship and that is becoming even closer. But ‘merger’ is too strong a word.”

A source at the group suggests the changes have already resulted in two job losses, but Jones denies there have been redundancies. He says the two businesses’ names will continue to be used in dealings with their clients.
