You can help to take design to Romania

Design is spreading its wings further east again – the Romanian Design Foundation was launched in Bucharest on a gloriously sunny day in May in a building wrapped, Christo-like, in bright yellow fabric – the corporate colour of the RDF. The whole idea was the brainchild of Chris Spencer, graphic designer and Director of Design for Transformation of which the RDF is a major project.

The RDF has a Know How Fund grant to help set up, but soon it will need to be self-sufficient and will need volunteers to help with training courses and workshops.

We are establishing a design library and we desperately need your help. Do you have any books or magazines which you can spare on design or related subjects? Or could you send, or subscribe on behalf of the foundation, to some really good journals?

Books and journals can be delivered/ sent to me. Or you can send them direct to: Janet Reuben, RDF, Str Dr Mihail Petrini 8, Et 1, Ap.3, Sect.5, 76222, Bucharest, Romania.
