The capers of our comic heroes make us less Bluw

A good joke bears telling twice. So, while we may have missed the boat on Bluw’s promos for last year’s British Comedy Awards, we’re showing the visuals now – sent in with the group’s ‘we’re brilliant’ mailer.

Comedy giants Ricky Gervais, Alan Partridge and Johnny Vegas are given their pomp and circumstance in a series of mock-heroic paintings that cheekily rework artists such as Toulouse-Lautrec.

Our favourite is the early bird Radio Norwich DJ cast as Napoleon, with ‘Cock Piss Partridge’ spray-canned across his mare’s rump (pictured).
