1 London design studio Magpie has created a look for IT management consultancy service provider Logica’s Food for Thought ‘lunchtime sessions’, which aim to provide insights into global issues, including fuel shortages and increasing energy demands, affecting its clients.

2 Toby Paterson’s powder blue orthogonal pavilion, part of the Portavilion public art project, will be showcased in Southwark’s Potters Fields Park in London until 28 September. The pavilion series, located across London parks, is part of the London Festival of Architecture, and has been curated by Emma Underhill.

3 CDT Design has focused on glamour for Breast Cancer Campaign’s Pink Ribbon Ball invitations and event catalogue. The fundraising event this year will take place at the Dorchester Hotel, London on 11 October.

4 A zero-gravity art project last week saw five artists, including County Hall artist-in-residence Nasser Azam, create works on a converted Airbus. The plane flew in a parabola to simulate zero-gravity conditions.

5 Design consultancy Wonder Associates has produced the look and feel of a campaign promoting Manchester’s Family Friendly Film Festival. The film programme will run for ten days from 8-17 August.
