Glasgow furniture design group One Foot Taller has taken the £15 000 top prize at the first Peugeot Design Awards for its Chasm Chair. The consultancy also won a £1000 category prize at the awards, presented last week at London’s Oxo Tower Wharf. Prize money worth a total of £25 000 was shared among other category winners, including London furniture group El Ultimo Grito with its Mind The Gap coffee table and magazine rack.

The updated visual identity, including a logo and campaign, looks to “reposition the educational charity verbally and put it back on the map visually”.
This year’s results follows a downward trend in popularity for creative subjects both at schools and universities.
The latest announcements also include a “multi-sensory” exhibition inspired by the sea at Oxo Tower Wharf.
