Incoming Marks & Spencer chief executive Stuart Rose has appointed former Arcadia marketing head Steven Sharp (pictured) as director of marketing, design and store development, after the resignation last week of executive director of general merchandising Vittorio Radice. An M&S spokeswoman says Sharp ‘is reviewing all aspects of the business’. The appointment of Sharp has already prompted the resignation of marketing director Alice Avis.
