Tyne Bridge and the Angel Of The North rendered in silicon

Two major Tyneside landmarks – the Tyne Bridge and Antony Gormley’s Angel Of The North – have been rendered in silicon in minuscule dimensions, just 400 microns wide, by scientists at Nanotechnology Exploitation. They’re useless and you can’t see them, but it’s jolly clever isn’t it?
