The BBC is launching its Voice of the People roadshow with a brand identity designed by Indian Gond folk artist, Bhajju Shyam. The event will travel across India and seeks to raise awareness of the BBC Hindi morning and evening programmes. The logo features a bird carrying a team of BBC journalists and is designed to appeal to rural audiences. ‘I believe the BBC Hindi bird will bring good fortune,’ says Shyam.
