Ziggurat has conceived the brand and identity for home-made food retailer Mrs Massey’s, set to launch at the Country Living Fair in London this week.
The brand has been created for chef Nicola Massey to help take her two-year-old food business to the ‘next level’ of distribution. Massey approached Ziggurat managing director Adrian Collins in October, asking for advice on how to develop the company beyond the farmers’ markets.
‘I made a selection from four ideas presented by Ziggurat,’ says Massey. ‘The amazing thing is that my personality is there in the labels.’
According to consultancy creative director Allison Miguel, Massey’s passion for the foods is reflected in the colourful marque and descriptive language. Photographer Alan Newnham provided shots of Massey’s utensils for use on the packaging labels.
Miguel says Ziggurat created a flexible, percentage- based fee structure for the project. ‘We have a small fee to start with, but this could grow,’ she says.
