Identica bags nutty snacks

The Identica Partnership has developed a new premium range of nut-based snacks for Trigon Snacks.

The group has created the brand name, range names, packaging and character for the Lounge Lizard range, which has been named after famous bars: Rick’s Radical Nuts & Fruits, Sam’s Serious Fruits & Nuts, and Harry’s Hip Nuts & other Nibbles.

Identica chairman Michael Peters says the Lounge Lizard project gave the group an “opportunity of lateral thinking and unfettered creativity”.

Ray McGhee, Trigon Snacks managing director, says: “Having a Lounge Lizard in the midst of the nut market is going to shake things up a little.” The range will start to appear on-shelf this month.
