Links to lead in support role

The Business Link network is set to become the main source of support and advice for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Agencies jostling for SMEs’ attention and often replicating services include Business Links, Training and Enterprise Councils, Enterprise Agencies and Chambers of Commerce.

It emerged this week that the Department of Trade and Industry wants to end SMEs’ confusion over what is available and from where by streamlining and directing support via the Links.
