Despite those announcements which seemed to suggest that the differences between TrueType and PostScript were going to become invisible to users, here comes Adobe with PostScript Level 3. It differs from Level 2 in that, according to the question and answer paper Adobe put out, it “accommodates the new digital document creation process which includes varying sources, complex composition and virtually unlimited destinations”.
