WTS/Rodney Fitch talk on

Rodney Fitch is still in the frame to take over Wickens Tutt Southgate. Talks between the two appear to be inconclusive so far (DW 11 October).

Meanwhile, another potential suitor has joined the list of those declining to strike a deal. Ad agency Leagas Shafron Davis confirms that it was considering a bid but pulled back after examining the packaging and branding consultancy.

The advertising agency follows MPL parent Princedale, WPP Group and Citigate as possible investors who are no longer looking to take over WTS.

Further, as yet undisclosed, design groups are believed to have expressed interest in WTS.
