Leaner and greener charity appears older than its years

The ‘new’ identity for the Samaritans [designed by Wolff Olins] seems to predate the charity’s own formation by a further 50 years (News, DW 3 October).

Paradoxically, on the same page is the new identity for Thresher [by Lumsden Design Partnership], which is a damn sight more friendly and appealing.

It is ironic that a charity has seemingly lost what a consumer brand has gained.
