Lexmark has brought out an updated version of its 4079 A3 colour printer called the Lexmark Colour Jetprinter 4079 plus Pro. It’s an inkjet printer with PS/2 emulation and 360x360dpi resolution. Claimed performance of the four-colour cartridges involved is 205 pages at 15 per cent coverage. There’s an interesting printing management system and network compatibility via an external adapter. The cost, including a 32-bit RISC processor and 16Mb memory, is 3100. Lexmark is on 01628 481 500.
