Top 100 oozes with a new-found confidence

Regarding the Top 100 (DW 29 March), it’s great to see confidence from other design groups.

The column of projected growth shows figures from 151 per cent downward. There is a 75 per cent, a 60 per cent, and 10s and 20s by the score. There is even a 17.5 per cent, which shows accuracy, as well as confidence.

Behind this is a serious question; how do companies plan resources for the vagaries of a service-based business?

I recently asked a friend who was “slowing down” after a successful career as a marketing consultant if he had regrets, and he said: “Yes, being too confident”!
