Design in Action has designed brand identity and packaging for Dunlop’s new golf ball brand Jetstream.

Dunlop’s brief was based on a holistic approach, where DIA would create brand identity, packaging and point-of-sale material, and assist in the trade launch of the product with a stand concept.

The range – three types of golf balls designed to work in three sorts of weather conditions – is aimed at amateurs, and DIA’s solution “dictates a tone of voice which has the product very much as hero – emphasising technology, innovation and breakthrough”, says DIA packaging director Trevor Bradford.

The final pack is “clean and modern in feel,” says Bradford. This theme is reflected in the point-of-sale display material developed by DIA subsidiary Display Work.
