No name for Burton venture

The Burton Group and Littlewoods have yet to choose a name for their home shopping joint venture. Discussions regarding the operation’s identity would follow the announcement of a name, says a spokeswoman from The Burton Group.

“[Under the deal] Littlewoods gets our fashion brands and we get their home shopping infrastructure,” adds the spokeswoman.

Meanwhile, department store chain Debenhams, currently demerging from The Burton Group, plans to enhance its properties by incorporating the “latest concepts in store design”, according to its demerger document.
