Television awards announced

Red Pepper Film Company scooped the top prize for channel idents in last week’s Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards.

Red Pepper Film Company scooped the top prize for channel idents in last week’s Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards. It won with its idents for cable and satellite channel Bravo, beating Lambie-Nairn @ The Brand Union for the Carlton idents.

The award for titles went to Burrell Durrant Hifle for its work for BBC TV’s Bully programme, while Mike Afford & Ceri Kashita won the prize for content sequences for BBC TV’s General Election coverage last May.

Sarah Greenwood was awarded the production design prize for drama for The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. The programme was produced by the BBC, in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and WGBH Boston. Production design honours for “any other programme” went to Shaun Moore for BBC TV’s MegaMaths.
