BAA design head departs

Jan Dagley, head of corporate identity for BAA, is understood to have been made redundant last week. She has worked with BAA for three years.

Dagley’s responsibilities will be handled, at least temporarily, by her former colleague Nicola Wade. It is not known whether Dagley is to be replaced.

Last September BAA restructured its design management team in a bid to centralise design services. The design team, along with other service units, reports now to design director of airports business Mike Forster.

Forster was unavailable for comment on the reasons behind Dagley’s departure.
