Bristol groups come together

Two Bristol consultancies have merged to create Robson Dowry. Twenty-year-old Robson Design has joined forces with Dowry Design, established in 1984.

Ian Robson of Robson Design, which created the identity and graphics for Shoe Express, becomes managing director while Dowry founding partners Nick Bassett and Andy Sanders are to be appointed creative directors.

The new seven-strong team is looking to recruit one or two designers in the near future, says Robson, who is also chairman of the South West region of the Chartered Society of Designers.
