Forget false modesty and promote yourself

I refer to Wolff Olins’ survey of UK companies’ attitudes to UK design (DW 15 December 1995). British understatement is certainly a typical characteristic, but in terms of design achievement, it’s false modesty.

As a keen observer of international design, especially European design, I see very little to compare with the originality of ideas and design excellence we have here in the UK.

Watch out Europe!
