London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts will approach designers to participate in a brainstorming session about its future home. Consultants will accompany architects and social scientists on a Thames boat trip on 24 February.

‘Design consultants will be extremely influential regarding the form and location of the ICA’s future headquarters,’ says an ICA spokeswoman.

Alsop and Strmer, architect for the ICA’s new building, carried out a 200 000 feasibility study last year.
