International lifestyle magazine Viewpoint has been relaunched by Dutch publisher Metropolitan BV. Art director Gerard Saint of Big Active, who designed fashion magazine Scene and redesigned Nova, has overhauled the four-year-old title. The new look, unveiled at the end of next month, is designed to give it a greater visual bias. Photographers such as Sandro Sodano and Dan Holdsworth have been used alongside leading illustrators. The February issue is devoted to fear, uncertainty and doubt and how they can be used to influence people’s buying decisions.
The new store — conceived by design and architectural practice Gensler — has a gaming lounge, multi-purpose Community Theatre and a McLaren sports car on the ground floor.
