The Other Side offers a culinary alternative

Glasgow city centre restaurant The Other Side opens its doors next week with branding, signage and print material by Kirkhill Design Consultants and interiors by architect David Roulston.

The restaurant, which is located on the south side of the Clyde river, is intended to serve the 60 flats in the building above it, including offering room service. It also hopes to attract business from surrounding offices, as there is little passing trade.

The opening is part of the area’s regeneration initiative, says Kirkhill partner Christopher Grimm. “It is the first move to get the area going,” he says.

The restaurant and its identity are designed to appeal to young professionals.
