Wolff Olins identity for Britannic

Wolff Olins has overhauled Britannic Assurance’s corporate identity as part of the group restructure into four business units.

The restructure and new identity is designed to reposition the former insurer as a broad-based financial services outfit, following its recent acquisitions spree, and to bring the parent brand greater visibility.

The parent company has been renamed the Britannic Group, underneath which four subbrands will operate.

First Active Financial, which was bought last year, will become Britannic Money. Evergreen Retirement Assurance, which was created six months ago, will be renamed Britannic Retirement Solutions. Britannic Asset Management was formerly known as Britannia Asset Management. Britannic Assurance remains unchanged.

The new look will be carried through the group’s marketing communications, including literature by incumbent agency BDH TBWA Manchester.
