Leeds consultancy Elmwood has designed the packaging for the launch of a new washing powder called Original Acdo, the first premium product in Lancashire company Acdo’s 77-year history.
The group has designed the packaging in what director Greg Taylor says is a “literary approach”.
The design uses bold, clear typography and simple graphics to convey the key facts and product benefits. The box is a different shape and size to anything else on the market.
“The pack is very much the hero and stands out dramatically from everything else,” says Acdo managing director Brandon Piling. “Our aim is to get noticed. I think this pack will achieve precisely that.”
Supermarket chains Tesco and Sainsbury are among the retailers which will stock Original Acdo.
