Oxo Peugeot Design Awards 2002

Part lighting and part tableware, Elma vases have been shortlisted in the lighting category of the Oxo Peugeot Design Awards 2002.

Designed by Benson Saw, they feature electroluminescent wire wrapped spirally around three polypropylene generic forms to create light and texture.

Now in its fourth year, the awards scheme is judged by a panel including Wayne Hemingway, Alex Lifschutz and Professor Clare Johnson, RCA head of textiles department and head of design at retailer Liberty.

The winners will be announced on 4 September.
