Used-car supermarket chain CarLand, which opened in January using a format developed by Rawls & Co, has launched an Internet shopping service.

The format was developed by digital communications group Global Beach.

Claimed to be the first on-line used-car superstore, the site allows shoppers a 360 degree panoramic view of the virtual store. The car chain has a no-debate pricing system and offers guarantees on all its products (DW 9 January).
