DIA replaces creative director

DIA has appointed a replacement for brands division creative director Nick Ovenden, who left the consultancy in April to join Landor Associates as design director (DW 27 February).

Ovenden has been replaced by former Grey Matter creative head of graphic design Jason Butler, who took up his position as design director two weeks ago.

A DIA spokesman says that although Butler has a different title, he is a direct replacement for Ovenden.

Butler is working alongside acting corporate communications creative director Colin Goodhew. He will return to his position as DIA Singapore creative director when Elaine Barbrook returns from maternity leave in two to three months’ time.

DIA is shortly to announce details of its first joint project with Minneapolis consultancy Yamamoto Moss. The two consultncies formed an official alliance earlier this year (DW 20 February).
