Football tournament seeks media interest

We were intrigued by your Diary story (DW 12 June) concerning Skidmore Turnbull Leetham’s football competition.

For the previous five years we have held a similar tournament for design groups. Last year’s event was our largest with over 40 companies entering, before 16 teams were left to battle it out in the final last November.

We were told this is one of the largest sporting events within the industry and accordingly forwarded various press releases to your editorial team.

Obviously, we believed this was to be of interest to your readers, and would welcome your comments on why some companies receive coverage and not others.

This was disappointing.
