A search for exhibits on the 20th century takes Janice Kirkpatrick to The Museum of Flight to see some heavyweight weapons. But she’s visually disappointed.
The latest creatives to reinforce the growing reputation of designers as sad football anoraks are the boys at Cope & Glory. They have created their own set of swap and stick football stickers to celebrate some big tournament apparently now underway in France. They join a selection of footie-obsessed designers.
Phil Jones of Real Time Studios last week sent Design Week a football-related e-mail so long and boring nobody has yet managed to read it all. And a photomontage of football injuries – including ‘Severe bruising to the genitalia with an underlying traumatic haematocele’ – turned up unannounced.
