The quiet ones are always the worst

Illustrators – who tend to work from home and often don’t see other people for weeks – aren’t usually associated with riotous behaviour. But when they get together a mob mentality can develop, as staff at agency Illustration discovered last week.

Throwing a party to celebrate the launch of the agency’s latest brochure meant bags under the eyes the following day as the artists shook their thangs. ‘Some of them were here until three in the morning,’ confesses agency boss Harry Lyon-Smith.
