Football’s coming home to Elmwood

For the 99 per cent of the design industry obsessed by football, Elmwood is simply the place to be. Charged with the England bid to host the World Cup in 2006, Elmwood has created a fantasy football themed room in its Leeds office, to act as an inspiration to those working on the project.

The new room was officially launched earlier this month with a suitably football-based evening, which included a life-size game of table football. This saw fully grown designers strapped on to bars on a bouncy castle-style pitch – an event that could well bring football to its rightful home in seven years time.
