Dutch acquisition by Razorfish

Razorfish has bolstered its presence in The Netherlands with its latest acquisition, Rotterdam Web design group Limage Dangereuse.

Having established an Amsterdam office last year and expanded it to employ more than 50 people, Razorfish expands its Dutch team to 70 people through the latest deal. Former Limage Dangereuse director of strategy Arie Van Baarle takes the role of creative director for Benelux operations.

Limage Dangereuse was formed in 1986, and for the past five years has focused on designing brand and corporate identities and digital solutions.

The consultancy has collaborated with Razorfish in the past, notably on a project for Nissan Europe. Razorfish managing director for Benelux Michael Moore says: “From the first day we met Limage Dangereuse, we were struck by the similarities in approach and culture.” He adds: “Limage shares our philosophy of creating a special work environment, fostering creativity and effectiveness. Together we’re creating an organisation able to offer Benelux clients a complete service offering… all under one roof.”

“By joining forces with Razorfish, we’ll continue to deliver the most exciting solutions in the digital arena and now we can expand our efforts to cover mobile and interactive services, identity and design,” says Van Baarle.
