Elmwood London has designed the packaging for a light variant of Irish butter brand Kerrygold, launching in major supermarkets this week. According to Kerrygold marketing controller Alison Palmer, the introduction of a lighter, spreadable product comes in response to consumer demand for healthier alternatives to butter. ‘Consumers are more concerned about where their food comes from and there is now a growing demand for lighter spreadables,’ she says.
According to the London-based designers, Rihanna’s eponymous book took two years to design.
