Tesco denies beer story

Tesco has denied reports in The Guardian that it is axing all but its top selling brands of beer. A Tesco spokesman says there has been a misunderstanding and that it is not cutting back its number of lines, simply the number of promotions.

There is concern within the brewing industry that lower tier brands could be facing delisting from supermarkets.
